A passionate, approachable and knowledgeable coding teacher is needed to teach Saturdays and after-school classes (between 3.30 to 6.30pm, depending on demand).

We are looking for an experienced coding tutor to start teaching in Term 1 of 2025. This will likely start at the beginning of February, however, we will have a school-holiday program in the weeks before Term starts. This time can be used for training/orientation.

Our center provides small class sizes of 3 or 4 students, allowing for a need-based approach to teaching. We would expect prospective applicants to have some teaching experience with children aged between 7 and 14 years old.

Ideally, a computer science degree would be helpful, but if you can provide evidence of coding projects or teaching experience then we can consider this as an alternative to a computer science degree.

Pay would be on a commission basis, generally, $30 per hour if you are teaching 1 student, however, for each student above 1, an additional $10 will be paid per hour.
