**About the role**
You will provide general internal medicine inpatient and outpatient services, with the opportunity to contribute to sub-specialty interests. The role includes participation in the acute medical on-call roster and teaching of junior doctors and medical students. Whanganui Hospital is a secondary care hospital with a strong emphasis on integrated care and collaborative practice.

**About you**
We are looking for someone who:

- Holds (or is eligible for) vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
- Has broad general internal medicine experience
