**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

We are seeking a programme manager to lead the mahi of the Midwifery Workforce Working Group.

You will bring your agile programme management approach to support the mahi of these groups to create a sustainable and flexible future workforce. You will work collaboratively with the members of the workforce groups and more widely with key stakeholders across the health sector. It's an opportunity to utilise your programme management skills together with your ability to write and prepare documents to support the workforce groups.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Developing and leading the workstreams
- Thought leadership for the workforce initiatives, using strategic and tactical approaches to achieve results
- Developing documents to support the mahi of the group - programme plans, reports alongside business documents such as initiative papers and Board reports
- Build productive and collaborative working relationships with key health sector partners

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**

**You will have**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification - or equivalent experience
- 5 years' experience of managing challenging projects or programmes of work, ideally within health
- Proven success in building and managing relationships with key stakeholders and project teams
- Demonstrated experience in developing initiatives from concept to delivery
- The ability to write papers at a executive level
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a willingness to learn and grow
