**Mō te tūnga | About the role**

We are recruiting for multiple Payroll Officers to join our busy and fast paced team. If you have previous payroll experience, or if you are a recent Graduate (HR or Commerce) this could be just the opportunity you are looking for.

You will need to have a keen eye for detail and have a strength in customer service.

This role supports the payroll team to provide operational payroll services to the Department. This role is responsible for supporting the payroll operations team and assigned projects to ensure that all payroll related activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner and that sound advice and query resolution is provided.

This is a professional environment with the opportunity to work alongside motivated people who are inclusive and engaging.

Depending on your level of Payroll experience, you may be based either in our National Office in Wellington, or work out of one of our regional offices around the country.

**Mōu | About you**

You will be responsible for managing internal clients across the organisation. Emphasis is on service orientation and you will liaise with a client base who are very diverse and interesting.

To enjoy this challenging role, you will need to be adaptable, quick to learn, and able to work under pressure in a multi-work stream environment. If you are a highly skilled payroll professional who can manage complex queries, and ideally has demonstrated experience working through ACC processes we can offer you:
