Professional Nanny

A loving and kind family with a 6 year old daughter are seeking a part-time nanny to help support their busy lifestyle. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is organised, active and kind.

As the family’s nanny, you will be responsible for both childcare and light household duties, ensuring that afternoons run smoothly.

The family are all vision impaired, however their daughter is very independent and self motivated. Additional information regrading this will be further discussed with the family.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Childcare**: Provide fun, age-appropriate activities for the children, including homework help, outdoor play, arts and crafts, and fostering independent learning.
- **Household Support**: Light housekeeping duties, including tidying up common areas, organising, laundry.
- **Running errands**: Run errands for the family such as picking up medication scripts, groceries ect.
- **Dinner preparation**: Dinner prep can be done prior to picking their daughter up at school or whenever works in best.
- **Active & Energetic**: Must be able to keep up with a busy family and energetic children.
- **Organised**: Highly organised, with the ability to create and maintain schedules and a family calendar that ensures everything runs smoothly.
- **Excellent Communicator**: Strong communication skills with both children and adults; able to keep everyone informed and ensure smooth operations.
- **Strong Morals**: Honest, ethical, and with a good sense of integrity.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in childcare and household management, particularly with school-aged children.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. (Vehicle supplied for the Nanny)
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Positive references from previous employers.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain a positive attitude in a busy environment.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
