We have an exciting opportunity to help run a newly Bay Venues operated facility in Te Puke. This role requires staff management and customer service skills, ideally with a strong previous background in Aquatics including plant maintenance and operations.
**About the Role**:
We are currently seeking an Aquatics Supervisor to join the team at Te Puke Pool. This position primarily operates from Te Puke pool and offers the chance to work throughout our bustling Aquatic network, facilitating skill development and staff integration.
The Aquatic Supervisor ensures the customer experience and venue presentation is to a high standard, along with administration support to the Assistant Aquatic Manager.
The role also oversees the daily tasks of our Lifeguards to ensure a safe, efficient and compliant operation, while leading a high performing team.
**About You**:
To be successful in this role you will have previous staff leadership experience, plus excellent communication and organisation skills. Knowledge of aquatic facilities or previous lifeguarding experience would be beneficial but not essential as training can be provided. Knowledge of, or experience in the tourism and customer experience industry is also preferable. A Pool Lifeguard Practicing Certificate is essential to this role, however if you do not currently have one, we can provide the training required.
You will need skills in first aid and some exposure to emergency procedures, the ability to keep a cool head in high pressure moments and build relationships with customers are also crucial to the role.
