To operate any area of the process plant as required. Responsible for optimising the process plant requirements safely within defined ranges. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement approved changes. Train, coach and mentor other personnel within the plant as and when required.
- Operates all areas in accordance with the critical operating sheet, training manuals and standard operating procedures.
- Complete all relevant documentation to ensure accurate record keeping e.g. log sheets, logbooks and checklists.
- Effectively completes a handover with incoming/outgoing area operators each shift. Ensure all relevant information is communicated.
- Responsible for ensuring plant down time is minimised by exploring what alternative options are available and liaising with all operators and other plant personnel.
- When required ensure all permits are issued and closed off in a timely manner.

**Qualifications**:

- OSH approved Forklift license, or similar would be well regarded.
- Full and Current Driver Licence, ability to drive manual vehicles is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in processing plant, or similar, is essential
- Prior experience working in CIL/CIP, Flotation, Sag/Ball milling or pressure oxidation.
