Our PAR (Patient at Risk) team consists of specialist senior nurses who respond to and support patients either recovering from critical illness or displaying clinical signs of deterioration. We now have role available for a senior nurse to join our team.

**About the Team/Service/ Location**

We are a team that works at pace, with passion, vision and intent. Our Clinical Nurse Specialist role is pivotal to our success and will be expected to engage fully with the whole team.

The PAR team offers a senior nurse career pathway, including opportunities for nurse practitioner development.

Our team operates on a 12-hour shift schedule, covering both day and night shifts, at both the North Shore and Waitakere Hospital locations.

**About you**

We seek proactive, enthusiastic, and compassionate individuals with strong teamwork, communication, and leadership abilities for this fulfilling and demanding role. Previous experience in similar teams (such as Outreach/Patients at Risk) would be beneficial.

To be considered we will need the following:

- At least 5 years of post-registration experience within an acute care setting (ED/ADU/PACU/CCU/ICU)
- Holding a minimum RN level 4 in their current area of practice
- Completion of or progress towards a Postgraduate Diploma or Masters degree, with a focus on Intensive/Critical Care nursing or other pertinent specialties
- Possession of a current CORE Advanced Resuscitation certification
