Salon Supervisor

**JOHN AND JAMES NZ LIMITED T/A BROWNS VANITY**in Auckland, New Zealand is looking for a suitable Salon Supervisor to join the team. To be suitable for this role, you must have either a minimum of three years' industry-related experience or a relevant Level 4 Qualification.

The pay rate will be $24.00 to $29.00 per hour, based on Work Experience.

Location: Auckland

Job type: Full-time - 30 hours Minimum per week, based on a rotating Roster

Duration: Permanent

**The job duties associated**
- Greeting customers as they enter the hair salon;
- Being able to ascertain a customer’s preferences for the services sought and providing appropriate advice.
- Ensuring that health and safety standards are adhered to and that all equipment is sterilised prior to use on a customer.
- Ordering equipment and stock as and when required
- Arranging appointments as per availability for customers
- Keeping records of payments from customers
- Represent our brand with pride and professionalism across assigned retail locations
- Build strong, lasting relationships with retail store teams and management
- Demonstrate and promote our beauty products to staff and customers
- Achieve sales targets
- Maintain planograms, stock levels, and ensure visual merchandising standards are met
- Provide feedback and insights to head office on store performance and customer trends
- Collaborate with fellow reps across NZ for national brand consistency.

**What we expect**:

- You must have at least 2-3 years' experience or a minimum Level 4 Qualification to be suitable for this role.
- You will be trained, supported and guided.
- Self-motivated, multitasking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Available on weekends, holidays and for spilt shifts, a roaster will be provided in advance.
- Basic verbal communication skills.
- Time Management skills with a Professional approach
