As the Network Development Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the network computer model, simulating customer growth scenarios to understand how the network will perform and building and maintaining strong collaborative working relationships.

You will also be striving for continuous improvement by researching customers’ energy needs and technology trends and finding innovative solutions to develop the network.

**About you**:

You will be an experienced electrical engineer, with a few years of experience in power system engineering including system modelling, protection, and control. You also bring with you:

- Solid conceptual and reasoning skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Tenacity in taking complex problems to successful outcomes despite potential barriers.
- Data analysis skills and understanding of statistical methods.
- Strong commercial, financial, and risk management skills to develop project budgets and to undertake financial assessment of project options.
- A practical understanding of construction and engineering techniques (preferred)
- Experience in scripting using Python (preferred)
