**The Role**
As our Internal Audit Manager you will participate in and lead independent and objective assurance activity in digital and technology (including General IT Controls), cyber security and strategic transformation programs across the IAG.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Participate and lead Technology and Change Program assurance reviews
- Deliver quality real time opinions that are relevant and timely enough to enable influence over business outcomes.
- Leveraging audit methodology and disciplines of time management, people management and quality in completing review activity
- Collaboration with GIA internal specialists and co-source SMEs
- Manage the tracking of open audit issue to resolution with stakeholders
- Provide valuable insights to senior stakeholders to help them manage risk, improve processes and controls and achieve business objectives.
- Embedding the stakeholder management model / ‘Cluster’ within Technology and Change by building respect, profile and relevance with the senior stakeholders
- Proactively providing input into the GIA dynamic planning process
- Impart knowledge gained on a review to the wider GIA team
- Gaining knowledge to assist in driving the dynamic audit planning process
- Gaining the knowledge to improve stakeholder management
- Proven experience in managing multiple/concurrent assignments end to end
**Skills & Experience**
- 5+ years’ experience in the insusurance industry and/or professional services organisations
- ISACA certification (CISA/CRISC/CISSP) and/or an IIA qualification and/or an IT industry certification (ITIL, COBIT, NIST)
- Experience executing IT General Control (ITGC) reviews and other technology risk assurance activity in complex and agile environments
- Proven ability to manage complex reviews end to end, influence senior management through adapting style and proactive relationships
- Ability to articulate clear and concise opinion - written and oral - on demand to all levels of management
- Strong and proven presentation skills in dealing with senior internal and external stakeholders such as CIO/CDOs, CISOs, IT Senior Managers, Program Delivery Managers, Senior Risk Managers
- Relevant tertiary qualifications e.g. IT, finance, business, accounting, economics
- Project management / software delivery certification (Prince2, PMP, PMBOK, Agile, Scrum etc)
- Experience in reviewing agile software delivery methodologies and projects
- Experience working in a large, complex, multinational financial services organisation
- Data analytics exposure a plus also but not essential
