**The Position**

Te Whānau o Waipareira is now seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our Wai-Intel Department.

As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality data analysis, and intelligence to support reporting, performance monitoring and quality assurance efforts. You will be responsible for building data capacity and capability while ensuring compliance and performance reporting across all contracts and activities.

You will be collaborating with internal and external partners, ensuring that data is accurately managed and reported in an understandable manner to support and monitor practice and performance. Additionally, you will enable high-functioning collaboration and convergence internally and externally to achieve strategic objectives aligned with the Whānau Ora framework.

**Skills & Experience Required**

- Commitment to Te Reo me ngā Tikanga Māori and working collaboratively in a Whānau Ora approach
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, Statistics, or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Data Analysis or related areas.
- Proficient analytics skills with a preferred advanced understanding of Microsoft D365, Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI), Microsoft O365 (Excel) and GIS software (ESRI, ArcGIS).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
- Experience managing projects with excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
