Hyster Palmerston North are looking for a Field Service Technician, with a view to development toward becoming their new Lead Hand.

Based out of our workshop in Palmerston North and visiting customers around the area, you will be in charge of the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of material handling equipment, from the humble pallet jack to the container handlers you see down at the docks.

You'll get to enjoy the autonomy field work brings (no-one looking over your shoulder) while being accountable for the quality of service you provide. You get to manage your own time, meet new people and travel to new places.

There is one constant however, **_You will be very important to the customer's operations_**

**About You**

You're a self-motivated skilled mechanic looking for that development opportunity. Along with impeccable customer service you have experience with the service, maintenance and repair of vehicles (whether heavy or light). Diagnostics, hydraulics and auto electrics are all in your portfolio of skills, and some knowledge of electrical forklifts will be an advantage. You have a positive can-do attitude, love problem solving and are committed to Health & safety.
