This is a new role for a Web Developer to join the Customer & Digital Delivery team on a 12 month contract to help us achieve our bold Customer, Sustainability and Growth ambitions.

**About the role**

As a Web Developer working alongside our wider Digital, ICT and Marketing teams you will play a critical role in our Digital Transformation by helping us leverage our modern CMS platform across all our websites and create re-usable and scalable solutions. You’ll be responsible for the ongoing development, performance, and maintenance of our digital presence.

Key responsibilities include:

- Take ownership of delivering new features and enhancements to websites
- Help to migrate legacy website onto our new CMS platform
- Engage with teams to prioritise needs, refine requirements, develop content criteria, prototype ideas and content to inform final solutions
- Identify problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases

**About you**

This position would ideally suit someone looking for a challenge with a customer centric mind set to help improve the digital experience for our customers.
- Experience with CMS in general covering core concepts like blocks, templates, and content management
- Able to modify and build templates/blocks/functionality in Optimizely (Microsoft.NET code), build out and support any functionality
- A minimum of 2+ years’ experience with website development in a large complex organisation.
- Experience using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ASP, ASP.NET
- Previous experience on front end design systems
- Salesforce and Google Analytics experience would be advantageous
