Are you a skilled financial leader passionate about making a difference in the lives of young Tamariki? Ngā Tamariki Puāwai o Tāmaki |Auckland Kindergarten Association (AKA) invites you to join our team as a **Financial Planning & Analysis Manager**.

**The Opportunity**:
Reporting to the **Chief Financial Officer (CFO)**, you will play a key role in ensuring financial sustainability, supporting decision-making, and strengthening financial capability across the organisation. Working closely with both the Finance Team and operational leaders, you will:

- Provide accurate and timely financial insights to senior stakeholders
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and risks, driving informed decision-making
- Optimise financial systems, processes, and controls for efficiency and accuracy
- Coach and educate non-financial managers to enhance financial understanding and accountability

**What We are Looking For**
- ** 5+ years' experience** in financial and management accounting within a medium to large organisation
- Strong expertise in **financial planning, budgeting, and analysis** to drive strategic decision-making
- Proven ability to **translate financial data into actionable insights** for non-financial stakeholders
- Experience **coaching and mentoring** managers to improve financial literacy and decision-making
- A track record of **optimising financial processes and controls** to enhance efficiency and compliance
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships
- Knowledge of the **education or not-for-profit sector** (advantageous but not essential)

We are looking for someone who is customer centric, professional, self-motivated and has strong communication and interpersonal skills. You prioritise effectively, has a big picture view on situations but also has a handle on the detail. Being part of a small finance team, it goes without saying you need to be a collaborative team player.
