**Role Overview**
We are looking for passionate and self-driven **Video Journalists** to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for journalism students or aspiring media professionals to gain hands-on experience in video news production, develop their portfolios, and contribute to shaping the voice of regional media.

As a Video Journalist, you will have the creative freedom to explore and craft news stories independently, while receiving support and guidance from the Mount TV editorial team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Research, pitch, and develop compelling news stories relevant to the region.
- Capture high-quality video footage and conduct on-camera interviews.
- Edit video content using editing software to create engaging and professional news packages.
- Write concise and impactful scripts or captions for social media posts.
- Stay updated on regional news trends and contribute ideas for creative content.
- Upload and optimize videos for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with Mount TV's branding and audience engagement goals.

**Qualifications**
- Current student or recent graduate in journalism, communications, media, or a related field.
- Basic video shooting and editing skills (experience with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar is a plus).
- Strong storytelling and news writing abilities.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) and a passion for creating digital content.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
- A proactive attitude, creativity, and willingness to learn.
