Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in driving commercial excellence within a leading New Zealand infrastructure supply company? Our trusted client is seeking a proactive and strategic-minded individual to join their team as a Commercial Business Partner.

**About the Role**

In this role you will act as a key business support, playing a key role in providing invaluable analysis and financial acumen to the Business management team. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of activities including strategic partnering, reporting, data insight provision, planning, and commercial oversight to drive effective commercial management and improvement across the business.

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, this role is responsible for partnering with both manufacturing and sales divisions across the business network, and your influence and support of these crucial function will be paramount to your success in the role.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Partner with Business teams to provide timely, accurate, and sound financial information and advice.
- Develop and implement management systems and reporting to enhance business services.
- Conduct analysis to assist management in identifying opportunities for profitability enhancement.
- Build and maintain budgets and forecasts to drive fiscal discipline and transparency.
- Prepare commentary, presentations, and business cases for key stakeholders.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Relevant tertiary education in finance, accounting or similar discipline.
- Exposure to the civil or construction sector would be a bonus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive problem-solving attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of sales pipeline systems and capital expenditure business cases is advantageous.
