**Role Overview**:
We are seeking skilled and versatile Carpenter-trained Skilled Operatives to work on projects across Auckland, Taranaki region and Wellington. The role involves working across multiple sites, and frequent travel or relocation between regions may be required. We are looking for motivated individuals committed to long-term employment and excellence in civil construction.

**Core Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Constructing and dismantling formwork for concrete structures including walls, slabs, chambers, and foundations
- Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling timber, plywood, and other materials
- Undertaking timber and steel formwork carpentry for civil infrastructure projects
- Assisting with placing, pouring, vibrating, and finishing concrete
- Reading and interpreting drawings, plans, and construction specifications
- Lifting, carrying, stacking, and moving materials using hand tools or small mechanical equipment
- Assisting with pipelaying and installation of fittings, valves, and mechanical components
- Excavation support, trench preparation, and backfilling activities
- Operating plant and equipment for which you are trained and competent
- Performing manual tasks such as digging, sweeping, installing site controls, and general housekeeping

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in carpentry, formwork, concrete placing, or structural civil construction
- Minimum 12 months referenced experience on civil construction sites
- Confined space trained
- First Aid trained
- Ability to read plans and understand construction specifications]
- Strong knowledge of site safety practices
- Clean Class 1 NZ licence (or equivalent convertible overseas licence)
- WTR endorsements desirable
- Must be an NZ Resident or Citizen only
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and ongoing random testing
- Must be able to pass police checks

**Areas of Work**:
Work will take place on project sites within the Auckland, Taranaki, and wellington regions.

**Hours of Work & Pay**:

- Minimum 55 hours per week
- Hourly rate: $33.56
- Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
- Saturday work may be required to meet project deadlines
