**About the Role**

The health care assistant is a vital, valued member of the department and plays a pivotal role in the efficient and effective running of the Medical Ward. We place a high priority on patient focused care that is inclusive of family/whānau.

We are looking for someone who:

- Has experience working as an HCA
- Possesses a Health Care Assistant qualification (minimum Level 2)
- Has a positive, can do attitude
- Is sensitive to the needs of others
- Works well in a team
- Can adapt to changing situations
