Smith's Mitre 10 Mega is a family owned Christchurch business which strives to offer exceptional customer service to every customer every time.

This is your opportunity to join our Papanui store and be part of the team as we strive to make our Papanui Mega a number one destination for all trade and DIY alike.

This role is within our Trade Drive Thru area, and we are looking for a person with experience in timber and building products as you will be working with both trade and DIY customers.

You need to have a full driver's license and want to obtain your forklift license with the view to getting F endorsed.

For this position we are looking for someone who has:

- Enthusiasm and team spirit
- A passion for customer service excellence
- Good time management
- A willingness to learn
- Good communication skills
- Physically capable of lifting heavy weights

Previous retail experience and/or experience in timber and building products would be an advantage although applicants who are eager to learn will be considered.

This role is a permanent position working Sunday to Thursday, approximately 43 hours per week 8.5-8.75 hours per day.
