**About the Role**

As a Team Leader in Internal Products at our Hawera site, you will be responsible for providing operational support to your team on the floor by proactively supporting them to meet their daily production requirements, as well as observing and monitoring quality and safety compliance. With the support of the leadership team, you will have the chance to drive continuous improvement initiatives and grow your career with a range of development opportunities.

**Some responsibilities include**:

- Communicate what food safety, quality and compliance requirements are specific to your team and actively observe the chain to ensure these are maintained at all times
- Train and coach members of your team to understand what specifications and production targets mean and how they relate to the team member’s work
- Organise daily production requirements in conjunction with your manager and clearly communicate this with your team

**About You**:

- Passionate about inspiring others; and providing personal and professional development opportunities to team members
- Display leadership qualities and proactively drive a strong culture that aligns with Silver Fern Farms values - Unstoppable Together, Improving Tomorrow and Always Caring
- Experience in the food processing industry would be beneficial
- Basic computer literacy and strong communication skills
