mahi (About this position)
We are a vibrant and friendly
multidisciplinary team committed to providing a quality service to clients in
the community. The District Nursing Services runs a daytime roster that
includes weekend shifts.
In this role is to work with local
communities to promote health, prevent disease and maintain wellness, as well
as work in partnership to assist and support families and whānau towards
self-reliance in health.

Clinical skills in wound care and palliative
care are preferred. You will be flexible and able to work in a variety of
different settings including people - s homes, clinics, schools and community
centres.
You will have NZNC registration, a
current practising certificate and a full driver's licence. You will be a great
team player passionate about community delivery and the health and wellbeing of
our population. You will have outstanding interpersonal skills, be highly
motivated and be committed to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and achieving
equity.
If you are an enthusiastic Registered
Nurse with broad knowledge and skills, and you have a passion for community
nursing, this could be the position for you.
Te Whatu Ora staff must have completed their primary course of NZ
approved COVID-19 vaccines as they have direct contact with patients and
members of the public.
