**Te Tūranga - The Role**

**The duties of the role will include**:

- Providing pragmatic and effective legal advice on contracts, leases, and licenses.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, including supplier agreements, statements of work and contract variations.
- Overseeing legal review of site licenses and leases.
- Providing legal and commercial advice on site build process
- Managing legal disputes and claims, as necessary.
- Attending meetings with key stakeholders to discuss commercial and legal aspects of the project.
- Liaising with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities.
- Identifying and mitigating legal and commercial risks.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align legal strategies with project objectives.

**Ō pūkenga - About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have a bachelor's degree in law, with extensive experience in commercial and contract law, ideally in-house in an infrastructure, telco or front-end projects environment.

**As well as**:

- 10-15 years minimum post-qualification legal experience.
- Proven senior experience in corporate commercial law and legal management.
- Strong understanding of business operations and compliance.
- Experience supporting complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Preferred experience in commercial and project management.
