Adult Therapist

**_Are you a Registered Mental Health Clinician interested in making a difference in the lives of adults impacted by sexual harm? _**

At HELP Auckland, the Therapy Team is looking for a qualified Counsellor, Psychologist, Psychotherapist or Social worker, preferably with post-qualifying experience, to join our feminist values based organisation, to help us in our mission to support & empower women in their healing from the effects of sexual violence.

We provide supervision, flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional development. Our service also runs a DBT program which you have the opportunity to be involved in. (training provided)

This is a part-time role, working 21.5 hours per week (including Monday afternoons) based in Mt Eden, Auckland.

What you need:

- Registration with an NZ Professional Governing Body in Counselling or Psychotherapy.
- An NZQA approved qualification relevant to your membership/registration.
- Experience working with children and young people
- Commitment to Te Tiriti O Waitangi
- Feminist understanding of the use and misuse of interpersonal power
- Able to learn and adapt to new technology and databases readily.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
