this role you will be covering sick (oncall) and annual leave.
Location - Darfield Community Hospital, Darfield.
Salary - Starting from $51,770 to $61,540 per annum. Based on the
NZNO Nursing and Midwifery collective agreement

Mō te tūnga - About the Role
Darfield Community Hospital has 11 beds for providing transition to home,
respite care, day care, long term care of the elderly for our local community
and palliative care. With local general practitioners in Darfield, medical
services are readily available.
We are a friendly small team in a rural
hospital setting, comprising Registered Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, a
Gardener/ Maintenance person, allied health involvement, Older Persons Health
and Palliative care support.
In this role, you will be responsible
**for**:
- Supporting
the Registered Nurse
- Assisting
in the kitchen to prepare meals
- Assisting
the patients with personal cares, activities
- Helping
to maintain a high standard of cleaning in the hospital.

- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage well
- Ability
to work efficiently and effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Has
empathetic and caring nature
- Good
time management skills
- Ideally
experience as a Hospital Aide or similar
- Previous
