**The Opportunity**

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in integrating new products into our manufacturing process and ensuring the reliability and quality of our testing procedures. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our innovative animal management solutions, through providing support for diagnosing and resolving production line testing issues. Your expertise will also be instrumental in providing technical mentoring and support to our NPD project teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

**The Fit**

We’re looking for a senior developer who is passionate about knowledge-sharing and mentoring. You’ll have extensive commercial development experience and be proficient in using debugging tools to track down problems. To succeed in this role you’ll also have:

- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (or another relevant tertiary qualification).
- Proficient in C# (.NET framework 3.5 onwards).
- Experience with SQL.
- Proficient in use of compiler/development environments.
- Proficient at designing and documenting features or modules that are a part of a product or NPD project.
- Proficient in use of version control tools (TFS/GIT) and process and in the use of debugging tools relevant to the product.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Considerable experience working with new product introduction teams.
