The Occupational Therapist is a key position in providing high-quality, person-centred allied health care to National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants. This role focuses on enhancing the health, well-being, and independence of clients. The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, including colleagues across Australia, and be responsible for delivering tailored therapeutic services that promote client autonomy. The position also involves ensuring timely service delivery and maintaining strong communication with internal teams and stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct evidence-based assessments and interventions for NDIS participants, establishing clear pathways to goal achievement.
- Deliver person-specific, measurable outcomes, ensuring interventions are appropriate, accurate, and well-documented.
- Adhere to service level agreement (SLA) timeframes and identify opportunities for client-centred improvements.
**Team Collaboration**:
- Actively participate in meetings to contribute to the growth and development of the company
- Support client engagement and ensure accessible services for NDIS participants.
- Contribute to efficient and timely service delivery, as per SLA timeframes.
- Communicate regularly with managers regarding progress toward service delivery targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Promote services and foster relationships to encourage repeat referrals and new customer opportunities.

**Professional Obligations**:
- Maintain current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and any required professional memberships.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards, ethics, and codes of conduct.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development (CPD).
**Position Specific Requirements**:
**Essential**:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Current National Crime Check.
- Australian Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- NDIS Orientation Workers Module completion.
- High-level verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
**Desirable**:
- Knowledge of the NDIS framework, funding, and support categories.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
