**About the job**:
We’re looking for an experienced Wastewater Technician to join our team in Timaru.
The role involves actively maintaining water wastewater networks on a reactive or scheduled basis to contract specifications. This may include:
- General labouring such as cleaning, clearing, lifting or other civil work.
- Use and maintain hand tools.
- Operate plant as required such as Loaders, Rollers and Trucks.

**What you’ll need**:
- Ideally you will have previous experience in maintaining sewer and/or stormwater systems or experience within the construction and utilities industry.
- We need someone who is able and willing to participate in the on-call and standby roster.
- You will need to be physically fit, health and safety focused, and work well in a team as well as independently.
- A full class 1 licence and an ability to drive a manual is also essential.
