Based in South Auckland, our client is looking for an experienced Truck / Transport Dispatcher from the freight and logistics industry.

Whats required ?
- Taking job bookings, data entry, dispatching jobs to drivers, while maintaining efficient workflows and appropriate service levels, whilst also maximizing our customer’s experience by providing accurate information and reliable and consistent service levels.
- Effectively arrange all truck activities in order to meet or exceed customer service expectations while maintaining compliance regulations.
- The ability to co-operate and get along with people from all walks of life and work well within a team
- Maintain and monitor data management system according various schedules and requests.
- Monitor and ensure all delivery vehicles follows local rules and regulations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed:

- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Excellent Organizational skills
- Knowledge of Auckland and greater areas and regions
- A growing enthusiasm for learning
- A fun friendly demeanor, with humour as a side order
- Tenacity - There are going to be days where the job is hard, and you have to push through

Therefore you must have:

- A very strong sense of responsibility for completing tasks and achieving goals
- Acumen to resolve practical operational problems and deal with a variety of situations in a high pressure environment
