Due to some exciting changes in our Engineering business, a rare opportunity has arisen to lead the team as our Workshop Manager - Modification Centre, based in Palmerston North.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the role will be both 'on the tools', as well as managing a team of six (6). Your time will be split roughly 70/30 toward truck modification and vehicle preparation work and daily management tasks.

**If you**:

- Have hands on heavy vehicle engineering experience, specifically on and around heavy trucks as an engineer.
- Can manage multiple workflows, complex demands, and high workloads.
- Can demonstrate capability to manage internal and supplier relationships to ensure smooth and efficient workshop operations.
- Understands truck parts inventory management and the respective accountabilities.
- Are comfortable managing a team, including establishing and maintain staff performance development plans.
- Are comfortable with change management, making continuous improvements and reliably implementing these initiatives.
- Are a leader in health and safety in the workplace.
