Kitchen & Bathroom Designer

Mitre 10 Taumarunui is a locally owned and operated company with a vision to provide outstanding customer service and great value products to our customers.

Our kitchen and bathroom departments are expanding both in retail and in trade. You will help customers plan and design their kitchens and bathrooms from cabinetry to appliances and everything in between.

Working in this department will stretch your thinking and rely on your strong problem-solving skills. All while listening to our customers requirements to present the right solutions.

- Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
- Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, accuracy and process driven.
- A flair for design.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Experience with design programs such as CAD, Winner, 20/20 would be advantageous. Full training on our kitchen offer and kitchen software programme will be given.
- Ability to manage your own time.
- A full NZ drivers license is required.
- Physically fit as there will be a level of lifting and manual handling to check incoming kitchen stock and assist customers with product loading/lifting.

In this role the Team Member will be designing kitchens and Bathrooms for both our Mitre 10 Taumarunui customers and Hammer Hardware Turangi customers.

The role is based in the Mitre 10 Taumarunui store with day travel to Hammer Hardware Turangi on a demand basis.

The role is Tuesday to Saturday roster pattern, daily rostered hours will vary to cover store trading hours, leave, late night trading and special events.
