- We offer a supportive residential service for young people aged 10 to 17.

- Model emotional regulation and co-regulation in moments of crisis-
- Implement individualised behaviour and care plans focused on trauma recovery and attachment repair-
- Use creative, active engagement (sport, art, outdoor activity) to build rapport and regulate energy-
- Respond to high-stress situations with calmness and clarity — never reactive, always reflective-
- Work collaboratively with clinical teams, Oranga Tamariki, and other agencies-
- Maintain strong professional boundaries and contribute to a safe, positive team culture- Desired Skills and Experience

- Non-judgmental, inclusive, and culturally competent-
- Fun, energetic, and active — able to engage young people through play, sport, and movement-
- Can manage racial or homophobic slurs without reacting personally, while modelling respect and boundaries-
- **Qualifications & Experience**- Experience working with at-risk youth, preferably in a residential, clinical, or high-needs care environment-
- Understanding of trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and behaviour support-
- Relevant qualification (e.g., Youth Work, Social Services, or related field) preferred-
