We are looking for a full time Public Spaces Operations Manager to join the Public Spaces & Building Assets team within the Asset Management Group.

This role will coordinate and manage all operations and maintenance activities provided by the Parks team. The role is responsible for the co-ordination and management of all operations and maintenance activities on parks and open spaces of the District.

Hastings has nationally recognised parks and recreation facilities and a team that strives to provide quality public spaces for the community. We are looking for a motivated leader to join our open spaces team.
- A relevant qualifications and experience in contract management.
- Proven experience in parks and open space operations management
- Sound understanding and working knowledge of Contract Legislation
- Developed Computer skills and experience in RAMM
- The ability to communicate professionally, both in writing and verbally
- Excellent customer service skills
- A commitment to working alongside the community to provide quality outcome
