As Team Administrator for the Te Waipounamu Starting Well team, you will provide day to day administration support to ensure the team's work is delivered on time and to a high-quality standard. You support the team in contributing to their work programmes by managing and prioritising a variety of tasks. Examples of this include preparing and formatting documents, circulating agendas, co-ordinating meetings and minute taking, assisting with project co-ordination, managing financial administration and supporting with procurement processes.

**About the Team & Service**

The Planning Funding and Outcomes (PFO) team is made up of clinicians, contract managers, programme managers and support roles with the responsibility to design and implement system improvement. We work in partnership with key partners to ensure implementation and service delivery is relevant and appropriate for our local communities through strong, collaborative, joined up ways of working.

The Te Waipounamu Starting Well team is one of 4 life course teams in the Planning Funding and Outcomes team responsible for commissioning community based services. The Starting Well life course focuses on promoting good health and wellbeing from pre-conception through the first 2,000 days, early childhood and into adolescence, establishing the building blocks for a positive life course.

We are looking for an energetic and capable administrator who brings the following strengths:

- Tech-Savvy - Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook, and confident using digital tools to support workflow.
- Enthusiastic and Positive - You bring energy and a can-do attitude to your work and team environment.
- Resilient and Adaptable - Comfortable navigating change and rising to the challenge in a fast-paced setting.
- Self-motivated and organised - You have the ability to think ahead, use initiative, solve problems proactively, and manage your time effectively. You are able to prioritise your work to meet deadlines whilst preserving the highest levels of accuracy and confidentiality in everything you do.
- Relational - You have excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and the capacity to manage relationships at all levels, including with senior Ministry officials and with health sector leaders
