**About the role**: We are currently recruiting for a **Senior Site Supervisor** within our Construction team based in **Christchurch**.

With a full forward workload including some challenging and diverse projects ahead of us, we are excited to be able to offer this opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated, and skilled person into our business.

Your onsite training and mentoring will be tailored to your needs with a view to progressing your career as far as you want to take it.

**Duties will include**:

- Supervise, and lead your team from the front with a hands-on approach
- Manage the workload, motivation, training, health and safety, and performance of the construction staff on site including subcontractors and temporary workforce
- Monitor/communicate/report site progress to the Project Engineer/Manager
- Preparation of documentation for quality plans, traffic management plans, day sheets, etc. as required by the Project Engineer and Project Manager
- Manage the workload, motivation, training, health and safety, and performance of the construction staff on-site

**Key Skills & Experience**:

- Proven track record leading a team within civil construction, ideally 5 years+
- Great communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of operating a variety of machinery from within the civil construction industry
- Strong understanding, interpreting, reading & following construction plans
- Excellent track record of running successful projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality
