Sales Support/Inside Sales

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone who thrives on challenges and excels whilst working in a diverse and fast paced environment.

Based in our Matipo St, Christchurch premises, the primary responsibility for this role is to provide sales support for the business development sales team and administrative / business analyst support to the Sales Manager as directed. You will also be responsible for some customer service functions for key accounts. You will deliver seamless and professional services that meets and exceeds the business expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Sales Manager/Product Manager as directed
- Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly analytical KPI reports as required
- Investigate client concerns and escalate or remedy as required
- Prepare the Client Implementation Plan and oversee the process
- Ensure updates on quotes and sell rates are in CargoWise to enable auto rating
- Identify opportunities to develop new services and revenue

Skills & Experience
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Positive work ethic
- Knowledge of the sales process
- Intermediate to expert knowledge of Excel
- Time Management and planning, organization and execution skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Minimum 2 years in global forwarding with operation and/or customer service experience
