**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**
- We are looking for a Medical Specialist (SMO) or Medical Officer (MOSS) to work in Minor Procedures, who is interested in working in Taranaki to improve, promote, protect and care for the health and wellbeing of the people of Taranaki.
The role is for 6 months fixed term, working 4 hours of patient contact per week in clinic, plus non-clinical time (0.16FTE total).

- The successful applicant should have comprehensive experience and training in General Surgery and must have the FRACS with vocational registration or equivalent qualifications.
The department has a strong track record with audit and you will be expected to participate and contribute to the department’s activities including advanced trainee registrar teaching, supervision of house surgeons, audit and medical student teaching.
