**About the Role**

We welcome interest in these positions from registered Maori Mental Health clinicians (e.g. Clinical Psychologist, Child Psychotherapist, Social Work, Occupational Therapist, dapaanz registered or Registered Nurse) with adult mental health experience.

We are looking for dynamic clinicians to work as part of our multi-disciplinary team that works as a community based service. These roles include care management and rostered crisis duty during normal office hours. You will work in innovative ways to support tangata whaiora / service users in their local community. Please indicate your preference for either part time or fulltime hours in your offer letter.

**About the Team**

Te Ratonga Aranga Mokupuna Arangi Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (TE R.A.M.A. CAMHS), Wairarapa service in the Wairarapa is a progressive team, situated in an area that covers large rural and urban populations. Our multi-disciplinary team consists of Community Psychiatric Nurses, Social Workers, Clinical Psychologists, Community Support Workers, Administrators and Child and Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrists, Kaituriki Cultural Support Worker.

We place a strong value on the team culture and ongoing professional development is encouraged and supported. Our service is well supported by the Paediatrics team at Wairarapa Hospital and we work closely with other services such as the Child Development Team, Special Education Services and Oranga Tamariki.

- Porirua is our forensic, rehabilitation and intellectual disability inpatient unit.

**About you**

You will have Registration with the relevant professional registration body (e.g., Nursing Council of New Zealand as a Registered Nurse, Registered Social Worker, Registered Clinical Psychologist, Registered Occupational Therapist and DAPAANZ), and have a current practising certificate at all times. You will also have strong knowledge and understanding about Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and the impact of colonisation, also understanding about the impacts of poverty, discrimination and minority stress.
- Is a practising Registered Mental Health Professional in a large health service delivery organisation
- High level of knowledge, understanding and experience working with, treating and assessing personality disorders, complex PTSD and other co-morbid difficulties.
- Has attained sufficient work experience and clinical competence and confidence to work independently as a clinician interacting with consumers and other service providers (internal and external)
- Experience in evidence based therapies for treating personality disorders, complex PTSD and other co-morbid difficulties.
