**The Role**
Joining our Talent & Workforce Strategy team in a 12-month Fixed term contract, you will bring your technical experience in organisational design and job architecture to execute the Future Workforce Capability strategy that aligns to the people strategy, workforce planning, Job Architecture and IAG organisational design principals.
Leveraging workforce planning models and workforce trends, you will define the workforce capabilities of the future and executing the capability (skilling, re-skilling) approach. This role plays a pivotal role in creating a purpose-led, agile, future ready organization that enable our leaders to drive business performance and outcomes.
This position can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Auckland.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Leverage current understanding of strategic workforce capability requirements along with business insights to design and implement IAG’s future ready workforce strategy
- Identify and recommend the types and forms of core workforce and people data that IAG needs to better leverage people analytics in a sustainable way
- Define and implement a Career pathway solution in line with the Job Architecture framework
- Design the methodology to map all components ie skills matrix, capabilities so they are fully integrated with the job architecture
- Shape and progress IAG’s reskilling plan central to the workforce strategy
- Design scalable, sustainable, and effective reskilling programs - focusing on the people experience and conversion into new roles
- Align with and inform the Talent Management eco-system to enable the development of Talent attraction and retention strategies and initiatives
- Manage the IAG organisational design principals and exceptions
- Continually review and improve IAG’s job architecture to ensure that it is fit for purpose
- Design change and communication to support long term deliverables
- Manage and evolve our workforce planning (organisational design, roles and capabilities, reskilling) reporting framework, develop insights that support Business decisions
- Identify and recommend the types and forms of core workforce and people data that IAG needs to better leverage people analytics in a sustainable way
- Ensure governance and consistency, manage risks, project manage activities and collaborate with internal and external relevant stakeholders
- Manage relationships and contractual requirements with nominated Vendors/suppliers adhering to IAG’s policies and risk management approach
- Contribute to the success of the entire Workforce strategy, Talent and Executive Leadership Team and extended Culture & Leadership team
**Skills & Experience**
- Demonstrated knowledge, experience and understanding of workforce capabilities and career pathways
- Demonstrated knowledge, experience and understanding of workforce strategy and planning
- Technical experience in organisational design and job architecture frameworks
- Experienced organisation development practitioner, design and development
- Strong project management experience, change management and stakeholder relationships
- Ability to draw data insights and make data-informed decisions
- Proven ability to design and develop integrated eco-system solutions
- Ability to communicate effectively and interact with executive leadership level
- Comfortable in fast-paced environment, able to manage priorities and attention to detail
