Storeperson Wanted

We are a large wholesale importer based in Auckland looking for a permanent full-time storeperson to join our team. This is a hands-on role, preferably with experience in a warehouse environment. We are looking for physically healthy, hard-working applicants who can get on with it & do a great job

Your working hours will be between Monday To Friday and from 08:00 To 17: you will be guaranteed to work at least 30 hours per week.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

- Processing and dispatching inwards and outwards goods
- Pick, pack & label orders
- Use of The RF scanner and computers to do things electronically
- Ensuring all relevant documentation is completed and correct
- Manually lift items up to 20kgs
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and stocktakes
- Ensuring that your workplace is tidy, clean, and well organized.
- MUST Pass A Pre-Employment Drug Test

How can I tell if this is for me'
- Qualification in trade or business-related field is a plus but not essential
- Previous working experience in a warehouse environment is a plus but not essential
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Reasonably good literacy and basic computer skills
- Good physical fitness for heavy lifting
- An optimistic attitude
- Proven record of reliability and a team player
- Good communication skills
- Multitasking ability
- Adaptable approach and ability to work under pressure.

The pay rate for successful applicants will be pay between $25.00 - $28.00, depending on skill and experience.
