Datacom has an exciting opportunity for a Graduate to join our Product Services Team, supporting clients with their licensing. This is a customer-facing role so while a keen interest in Technology is a must, a Technical degree is not required to be successful. We’re looking for a great communicator, someone confident, organized, and willing to learn. This opportunity is Hybrid with an expectation to work from our beautiful Gaunt Street, Auckland office with flexibility to work from home some days as well. The Opportunity As part of our Products team, you'll join a high-performing, skilled team who work hard to ensure seamless service to our valued clients. Initially your responsibilities might include - Working closely with new and existing clients to determine their present and future Software Licensing needs and proposing suitable services and upgrades - Troubleshooting issues - Reporting - Billing - Placing customer licensing orders - Managing existing customer licensing - Answering customer queries - Reporting / analysing data - Billing - Raising issues with licensing vendors - Working with external vendors where applicable Eventually with training your responsibilities might include - Understanding the customer's Software Licensing objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes and forming long term business partnerships in order to leverage revenue from the relationship and promote the organisation as a quality supplier with the aim of achieving "preferred" supplier status. - Coordinating the preparation of Software Licensing proposals, tenders/bids, contracts and Account Management plans - Translating client needs into a complete solution.
