We have multiple positions open for super fit and healthy people in Tauranga.

Our client are one of New Zealand's leading companies in the waste collection and recycling industry.

You don't need experience for this role. What you do need is a good level of physical fitness, a great attitude and a reliable work ethic. There are plenty of hours on offer.

You will be assisting the truck driver with the collection of various sized bins (depending on the run) involving kerbside collection of recycling and rubbish bags/bins for residential and commercial properties.

About the job:

- Our client deals with residential recycling
- You will be running alongside the collection truck
- Retrieving recycling bins from roadside
- Sorting recycling into the trucks

Details:

- $25.50 p/h + 8% holiday pay
- 6:30am start
- Finish between 4pm - 7pm (depending on when the day's run has been completed)
- Monday to Friday
- Opportunity for good workers to be supported in gaining their Class 2 license

What we need from you:

- Fit and healthy
- Keen to learn and get stuck in
- Ability to work the hours (6:30am - 4pm/7pm)
- Be able to complete manual handling of bins/or bags and load onto collection vehicles
- Great attitude and works well within a team
- Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
