Reporting directly to the Service Owner - Payroll, this role provides support to the Payroll function. This role is based either in Upper Hutt or Wellington and is currently a hybrid role.

Your responsibilities will include utilising your experience with SAP/other large payroll systems working on various initiatives to ensure compliance with changing business and legislative needs.

Training for approximately one month will be based in our Upper Hutt office.

**Mou - About you**

**To be successful, you must demonstrate the following**:

- Prefer previous SAP experience working with a complex payroll for a large organisation (1000+ employees)
- Ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines is essential as is the use of excel to an intermediate level
- Strong track record of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers and peers gaining their trust and respect
- Strong track record of delivering results

Experience in successfully developing and implementing improvements to payroll process that ensure the best possible customer and compliance outcomes and providing effective training to others would be an advantage.
