**What the mahi will look like**:
Our team handles a range of clients across commercial and personal lines, with a wider team to learn and grow with, this role is a great step into owning a corporate book. This role is based out of our Christchurch office. As an Account Executive, you will work closely with experienced Account Managers owning a portfolio of commercial clients. Not only will you provide professional, accurate advice and support to your clients, stakeholders and underwriters, you will also be across new business growth.

**Some of your responsibilities will include**:

- Preparing proposals for new business opportunities
- Coordinating client renewals and preparing premium calculations

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**:
You will be a natural at building lasting, trusted relationships. Key to being successful is your experience in the insurance field, experience in SME accounts and you will have a strong aptitude to learn with the drive to get the best outcome for our clients.
- Experience in underwriting, claims or insurance account management
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- A current L5 - General Insurance is required (or you are working your way towards this)
- Desire to learn, and own a portfolio of clients, making things happen
