We are seeking a qualified and experienced Gardener to join our South Auckland Parks Team. Working out of the Drury depot, this is a site-based role predominately working in Franklin and may require assisting in neighbouring areas such as Papakura or Pukekohe.

As a Gardener, you will be responsible for the maintenance of gardens, parks and reserves on a reactive or scheduled basis in accordance with contract specifications. The focus of this includes garden maintenance, annual bedding displays (planting and maintenance) basic weeding, line trimming, and mulching.

**What You’ll Bring to the Table | Ngā Mea ka Mauria e Koe ki te Rūnanga**:

- A certificate in horticulture Level 4 or ability to work to achieve this
- Experience in Garden Maintenance or relevant industry (desirable)
- Full Class 1 driver licence
- Growsafe Certification (we can put you through this if recently expired)
- Physical fitness
- A strong work ethic and great communication
- Be friendly and approachable - you may interact with residents in the community
