He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
We are seeking Registered Nurses with significant critical care experience to form our new ICU Outreach service. You will be foundation members of this team. This Specialty Clinical Nurse role will ensure timely and effective response to patients and ward based clinical staff to manage clinically deteriorating patients. Both full-time and part-time hours are available with the minimum hours being 24 hours per fortnight (0.3FTE).
You will be responding to medical emergencies, acute referrals and ICU follow ups in adult, paediatric and maternity inpatient services. The service will provide 24/7 cover and you will be expected to cover a variety of shifts.
This role will provide an opportunity to challenge and extend your critical care skills, support and educate others and contribute to the development of the service.
