The North Sawn Group is a progressive company group involved in the timber processing industry. A position has become available at our Ruakaka, Northland site. North Sawn Group specialises in timber preservation, logistics, treatment and manufacture of engineered wood products. You will be located at our Ruakaka site specialising in treatment of timber products for the New Zealand and export markets.

Ruakaka is located near the sea just off SH1 - approximately 1.5 hours north of Auckland and 30 minutes south of Whangarei

Work as part of a long-established business and team to ensure efficient production flows through the treatment plants,while meeting maintenance requirements and industry compliance standards.

This is a full time /permanent position Pay starting at $27.80/hr.

Hours of work will be 40-45 hours per week over 7 days of the week on a rotational shift pattern, including day and night shifts in accordance with a roster.

We have two positions available.

**The main duties of this role will include**:
Responsible for the operation of our kilns and stationary plant for drying timber. This will include the preparation of kiln charges,checking, and maintaining the opertation of the stationary plant. We have three kilns on site in our timber treatment operation. You role is to ensure operation of the plant toour industry standards and quality standards.
