Telecommunication Technician

Your responsibilities will include:
Fibre and cable laying from boundary to premises.
Diagnostics of faults in cabling and/or in equipment.
Assessments and documenting current site network configuration and user requirements.
Diagnosing and resolving network and system faults to ensure optimal networking functionality.
Setting up the LAN for customer's equipment to the industry specifications.
Accurately test fibre cable to required certification (multi-mode and single mode)
Integrating and configuring telecommunication devices and tools to industry standards.
Pole Climbing, Connecting fibre optic cables to networking outlets.
Thrusting and underground cabling for residential customer's, consenting & open trench work.
- Be physically Fit and Able to do Civil task.
- Be health and Safety Focused.
- Must be self starter and able to work well in team.
- Enthusiastic can do attitude
- Great health and safety protocols

**Salary**: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 48 per week

- Hastings, Hawke's Bay: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- WTC1 (preferred)
- TMO OR STMS (preferred)
