**People Partner (Senior HR Manager) | New Zealand**

We have an opportunity for a strategically orientated HR practitioner to support the Lead People Partner in the delivery of future-focussed people initiatives for the New Zealand firm, with the objective of ensuring Aon maintains its market leading position for the provision of innovative risk solutions, and that employees receive the optimal employee experience.

Specifically, the appointee to the position will be expected to:

- Work with the Lead People Partner to devise annual operating plans and longer-term strategic plans that align with the commercial deliverables of the New Zealand firm, and incorporate global and regional expectations;
- Become a trusted strategic advisor to senior leaders on all macro-level people-matters;
- Create a cohesive and effective partnership with HR functional leaders and Centre of Excellence (COE) teams, including HR Operations and Learning & Development, for the deployment of key services and programs;
- Plan and lead key organisational design initiatives for increased productivity and cost optimisation;
- Identify and address people risks that the propensity to impact commercially on the business;
- Leverage employee insights to improve the attraction, engagement, competence, retention, safety, wellness, inclusion, and productivity of people.

This position will suit a someone with the following experience:

- Tertiary qualification with a Human Resources-related endorsement;
- Change management qualification i.e., Prosci (preferred, but not essential)
- Accredited practitioner of the Human Synergistics suite of leadership and culture measurement tools (preferred, but no essential);
- Able to consult with the entire HR Service Delivery Team, with an integrated regional perspective.
- Able to build effective relationships at multiple levels of the organization, and to consult, influence and partner with leaders in developing/executing people strategies to drive business performance.
- Ability to work in a complex environment ensuring that key stakeholders often with conflicting priorities are heard and supported.
- Creative and adept at problem solving, with an appreciation of diverse cultures and regions.
