We’re currently embarking on an exciting new journey to build financial products on a cutting-edge code-first Core Banking platform. As we continue to innovate and transform the banking landscape, we are seeking a talented and experienced Python Developer to join our team.

As a Python Developer at Kiwibank, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and collaborative team of developers, designers, and business stakeholders to design, build, and implement financial products and services on our new Core Banking platform. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying high-quality Python code that meets our strict performance and security standards.

- Skills and experience we're looking for:_
- Lives and breathes writing code using TDD and BDD techniques.
- Experience with CI/CD and build/release pipelines in any stack Effective verbal and written skills. Skilled at communicating complex information effectively to a range of different audiences.

**_ Bonus (not essential but advantageous to have):_**

Any experience with **Thought Machine Vault** would be excellent but not required. Kiwibank will provide support and training where necessary.
- Experience designing and implementing solutions on modern event streaming platforms would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with Linux systems, either having deployed to Linux-based containers/system and/or used Linux as an development environment.
- Experience with any of the following technologies: Pants Build, Pytest, C#, GRPC, Kafka, OpenAPI, GraphQL
- Experience developing for constrained SaaS platforms.
- Building and promoting developer experiences.
- Ability to manage, lead and mentor other developers in an Agile and/or DevOps environment.
- Experience working within a regulated software environment.
